Avoid underpaid tax next year – check your tax deduction card
If you’ve underpaid tax, this is usually because not enough tax has been deducted during the income year. To avoid underpaid tax next year, you should check the numbers in your tax deduction card for 2026.
If you earn NOK 100,000 or less during the year, you can get an exemption card. If you have more than one employer, you must remember to split the tax-free amount.
If you think you'll earn NOK 100,000 or more during the year, it's important that you order a tax deduction card instead.
