You can still view, change and submit your tax return. If you have not submitted your tax return yet, you should do so as soon as possible.
The tax return for businesses
If you’ve received the tax return for businesses, you must submit it.
You must submit the tax return even if your business had no revenue during the income year. This also applies if you recently started or closed your business.
The deadline to apply for an extension is 31 May. The application will be automatically approved.
Once you have submitted your tax return, we need to process it and prepare a tax assessment. Most people receive the tax assessment notice between April and June, while others have to wait until autumn.
Unfortunately, we cannot give you a specific date for when you’ll receive your tax assessment notice. You’ll be notified.
If you have underpaid tax, you'll receive an invoice with payment information well before the due date.
You don't have to wait for the invoice to pay. If you can, you should pay before 31 May. Then you don't have to pay interest. You can pay what you can right away and then pay little by little until the deadline. That way, you can create your own repayment plan.
If you have underpaid tax, it is usually because not enough tax has been deducted during the year. Avoid underpaying your tax next year by checking the numbers in your tax deduction card for 2026.
Do you have an identification number in the National Population Register and have been notified by BankID that you must re-identify yourself?
Then you must check that the National Population Register has registered the correct number from your ID document.
If you have a D number, you must also have the status "checked" registered in the National Population Register.
