2.1 Pay and equivalent benefits

The items under "2.1 Pay and equivalent benefits" concern income items such as wages, sick pay, work assessment allowance, surpluses on allowances, unemployment benefits, childminder and family nursery income in own home and other employment income.

  • 2.1.1 Pay and payments in kind etc.

    This item shows how much you have received in pay and any other benefits such as fees, work assessment allowance and sickness benefit from NAV. The total will normally be pre-filled with the amount that has been reported, so you should check that everything is correct.

  • 2.1.2 Income, basis for seafarers’ allowance

    This item is for seafarers only and shows what you have received in salary. Your salary forms the basis for the seafarers' allowance under item 3.2.13. The amount will normally be completed with the total that has been reported, so you should check that everything is correct.

  • 2.1.3 Income, childminder and child day care centre - in your own home

    This item shows what you have received in business income for childminding in your own home.

  • 2.1.4 Surpluses on expense allowances

    This item shows what you have received in surpluses on your expense allowances, meaning the allowances you have been paid in excess of the government rates. The allowances may concern food, vehicles, home office etc. The total will normally be pre-completed with the amount that has been reported by your employer, so you should check that everything is correct.

  • 2.1.5 Other income from work

    Under this item, you enter taxable income from work which is not business income, for example sales income or remuneration for craft and handicraft work in the home or the sale of garden and natural produce.

  • 2.1.7 Unemployment benefit for self-employed persons and fishermen

    This item shows the amount of unemployment benefit paid to self-employed persons and fishermen. Unemployment benefit is a benefit rather than income from employment. The amount will normally be completed with the total that has been reported, so you should check that everything is correct.

  • 2.1.8 Disability benefit from the National Insurance scheme

    This item shows how much you have received in disability benefit from the National Insurance scheme. The amount will normally be pre-completed with the amount that has been reported, so you should check that everything is correct.

  • 2.1.9 Disability benefits from other than the National Insurance scheme

    This item shows the disability benefits you have received from schemes other than the National Insurance scheme, including disability benefits from the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund (SPK), disability benefits from other pension schemes (including disability benefits from IPA/IPS) and disability benefits from abroad.

  • 2.1.10 Supplementary benefit for spouses - desability

    This item shows the amount of supplementary benefit you have received for spouses from the National Insurance scheme which is paid to disabled pensions who provide for a spouse under a transitional scheme.
