How to save, print or share your tax return
The way you save, print or share your tax return depends on whether you’ve received the tax return in the new or old format.
I received the tax return in the old format (Altinn)
If you want to save your tax return as a file or print a paper copy of it, you can log in to Altinn, download it as a PDF and print it. It will be available on 31 March.
The following will appear once you've logged in:
Click on the notice that says “Notification: Tax return [for the relevant year]". This will open a PDF that you can save or print.
I received the tax return in the new format
If you want to download the tax return for your own use, you can do this in the new tax return.
If you want to send your tax return to someone else, for example your municipality or as part of a loan application to your bank, you might need more details than what is provided in the summary in the new tax return.
You’ll find the PDF version of your original tax return by logging in to Altinn. For 2020, this will be available from 30 March for everyone who received the new tax return.
Once you've logged in, click on the notice that says “Melding: Using the 2019 tax return as documentation". This will open a PDF that you can save or print.
I’m not sure which tax return I've received
