Information for bachelor's, master's and PhD students who want to collaborate with the Tax Administration. Here you'll find information about opportunities, expectations and how to contact us.
PhD students can collaborate with us when
- your project has clear relevance to the Tax Administration's fields of expertise
- you’re affiliated with an educational or research institution
Send a short description of the project, its purpose and what type of collaboration you envisage. We assess all enquiries based on relevance and capacity.
If the project requires access to research data, you must submit a separate application for this.
We can collaborate with master's students who
- are writing a thesis in areas that are relevant to the Tax Administration
- are affiliated with an educational institution
The collaboration may concern clarifications of topics, input on research questions or information about relevant data sources.
We do not offer academic guidance and cannot guarantee access to research data.

If you need access to research data, your supervisor must apply for this.
At present, we do not have the capacity to offer individual collaboration or guidance to bachelor's students. Bachelor's students are nevertheless welcome to use open sources, publicly available statistics, and the information on skatteetaten.no in their assignments.
