Form RF-1526
Application to change or suspend attachment of earnings
The Tax Administration may order an attachment of earnings, which means that deductions will be made from your salary, pension or other benefits to collect tax that you owe. If your financial situation changes, you can apply to change or suspend the deductions.
We’ll accept the following attachments:
- photos of a paper document taken with a mobile phone/camera, or
- a screenshot from a computer
When we receive the completed application form, we’ll re-evaluate the size of the deduction. If the deduction is too high, we’ll send a new and lower deduction to your employer. Your employer cannot change the deduction until we've instructed them to do so.
Who can apply?
Private individuals may apply to change or suspend deductions from their salary, pension or other benefits.
Further appeals
If we do not change the deduction and you do not wish to withdraw your appeal, we’ll send your appeal to the district court. Before the district court can process your appeal, you’ll have to pay 1 court fee.
You can contact us for help and guidance if you wish to appeal.
