Making changes or appealing a decision
If you have new information or want to make changes, you must submit a new application. If you believe that the decision is incorrect, you may appeal.
You must contact us if you have discovered errors/missings or have questions.
If you for some reason want to pay back the subsidy amount you were granted, you must:
- Submit a new application for the relevant period. The most recent application submitted for the period is always the application that will apply.
- Enter 0 (zero) as the value in all the fields.
You will receive a repayment claim with all the relevant payment information.
When you receive a repayment claim, the information will be removed from the overview of decisions regarding granted subsidies.
Appeal
If you believe the decision you received is incorrect, you may appeal the decision within six weeks from receiving the letter with the decision. You can submit the appeal using the appeal form below. You must include the following in your appeal:
- The reference number stated under “Our reference” in the decision against which you are appealing. The reference number is found at the top of the letter to the right.
- The grounds for the appeal. Include all information that you think will be relevant for assessing your appeal.
- State what changes you wish to be made.
You cannot ask questions or send clarifications in the appeal form.
If you have any questions that you cannot find the answers to here at lonnstilskudd.no, you can call us on 800 80 000, then press 2 – 3 – 1 (from outside of Norway, call +47 22 07 80 10).
We cannot say exactly when your application will be processed. You will receive a notification from the Norwegian Tax Administration in the enterprise’s Altinn inbox.
We will consider your appeal. We will send you updates on what will happen next in the enterprise’s Altinn inbox.
If we allow your appeal, we will change our decision.
If we do not allow your appeal, we will send it to be processed by the Norwegian Directorate of Taxes, which is the appellate authority. If the Directorate of Taxes allows your appeal, we will change our decision. If the Directorate of Taxes does not allow your appeal, it will be rejected and this decision is final.
Coverage of legal costs
If we allow your appeal, you may be entitled to coverage of some of the costs you incurred in connection with your appeal. If you think you are entitled to such coverage, send us a written request.
