Marks on your credit record
If we make a decision on distraint, for example, by placing an attachment on something your business or organisation owns, we’ll report this to public registers. Credit rating agencies have access to these registers and will record a mark on your credit record.
A mark on your credit record will make it difficult to get new loans, credits, and subscriptions, such as mobile phone subscriptions.
How you get a mark on your credit record
You can get a mark on your credit record with the credit rating agencies if:
- a decision on a distraint has been made:
- we’ve placed an attachment on your assets
- we have not found any assets we can place an attachment on
- your business has been registered as bankrupt
How to remove a mark on your credit record
When the claims included in the mark have been paid, the relevant public registers are notified. Credit rating agencies register and remove marks based on the information they receive from these registers. If you want an overview of the marks on your business’s credit record, you must contact a credit rating agency.
Once we've received your payment, it usually takes some time before the removal is updated with financial and credit institutions.
