When we collect money from the business on behalf of others, you have the right to appeal the collection.

If you have questions about why we're collecting money from you, you must contact those responsible for creating the claim.

What the appeal must include
The appeal must include:
- what you're appealing
- why you're appealing
- what you want to achieve by appealing
- relevant supporting documents
- your signature
Please note that businesses and organisations can only request that we set aside money for cost of living expenses if they’re a sole proprietorship.
The collection continues even if you've submitted an appeal
Please note that your appeal does not usually stop the collection of the claim.
