Collecting enforcement fines
We may collect enforcement fines on your behalf if decisions on access, parental responsibility, or where the child should live permanently, are not respected.
The money will go to the State
The courts may assess an enforcement fine if decisions on access, parental responsibility, or where the child should live permanently, are not respected. The enforcement fine is imposed to force an action. The Tax Administration will collect the enforcement fine, and the money will go to the State.
How we carry out collection
The court may assess an enforcement fine to put pressure on the parent who does not contribute to ensuring that the right of access is carried out. The parent who prevents the right of access from being exercised may be charged with an enforcement fine every time the agreed access is not carried out.
The courts may also assess an enforcement fine to ensure that decisions on parental responsibility and on the child's permanent place of residence are followed. In such cases, the enforcement fine will accrue per day or per week.
A decision must be in place regarding right of access, permanent place of residence, or parental responsibility before the court can impose an enforcement fine. If the parents have a written agreement on parental responsibility, place of residence, and rights of access, the County Governor may decide that the agreement must be carried out (enforced).
Only the courts can impose an enforcement fine.
If you wish us to collect an enforcement fine on your behalf, you must report it to us.
We cannot collect an enforcement fine for more than eight consecutive weeks.
You must complete the form and send it to us, either by post or by logging in.
If you need to send a letter to us by post, please use this address:

If this is the first time you're reporting a claim, you must attach the decision from the court in which the enforcement fine was assessed. If the enforcement fine is connected to rights of access, you must also send us proof of the access arrangement.
The money will be collected by the Tax Administration and will go to the State, not to you personally.
