You can appeal to us if you believe something is wrong with the case processing or the collection process. If you want to appeal the claim itself, you must contact the one responsible for creating it.
How to appeal
You can submit the appeal by logging in and writing to us.
On paper
You can also send your appeal by post to:
Skatteetaten
Postboks 455
8601 Mo i Rana
What the appeal must include
The appeal must include:
- what you’re appealing – for example, the case processing or that the deduction is too high
- why you're appealing
- what you want to achieve by appealing – for example, asking us to stop the deduction
- relevant supporting documents
- your signature
Appeal deadlines vary from case to case
You’ll find the appeal deadline that applies to your case in the letter you've received from us.
The collection continues even if you've submitted an appeal
Please note that your appeal will not normally stop the collection of the claim.
