Paid too much on a claim
If you've paid more than you were supposed to, for example, on a compensation claim or a fine, you'll either get your money back or we'll use it to cover other claims you have with us.
If you've paid more than you were supposed to, we'll:
- either refund what you overpaid
- or use the money to cover other unpaid claims – if so, you'll be notified in advance
Usually, we'll quickly discover that you've paid too much. If you have not received the refund within a week, you can contact us.
