Enforcement proceedings

If you do not pay invoices and reminders, we may start enforcement proceedings. This means that we can make deductions from your income or place an attachment on your assets.

  • Mark on a credit record

You’ll get a mark on your credit record if, for example, someone is making a deduction from your income or has placed an attachment on your assets.
  • Attachment proceedings

We can examine what you own and whether we can place attachments on your assets.
  • Attachments placed on assets

If you have an unpaid claim that has led to us conducting enforcement proceedings, we may place an attachment on your assets.
  • Deductions from your income

We may order your employer, NAV or others to make deductions from your income to cover unpaid claims.
  • Offsetting

If you owe money to public authorities, any overpaid amounts can be used to cover these debts.
  • Cost of living expenses

If you have a deduction from your income, you should have enough money left to cover the necessary costs of living.
  • Incorrectly collected court fees
