Appealing the collection of child maintenance and other maintenance payments
When we collect money on behalf of others, you have the right to appeal the collection.
Does this apply to you?
This applies to you if you have claims for child maintenance and other maintenance payments.
You can appeal to us if you believe something is wrong with the case processing or the collection process. If you want to appeal the claim itself, you must contact the one responsible for creating it.
Select the correct appeal form
You can appeal:
Deductions from your income (RF-1370)
Attachment on assets (RF-1372)
Offsetting in future maintenance payments (RF-1378)
To submit the form for others, you’ll need access on behalf of the person or business you represent. You can find an overview of your roles and rights in your profile in Altinn (altinn.no).
To fill in and submit the form, you’ll need either:
- the Altinn role Limited signing rights
or
- the access package Collection
Contact Altinn – Help (altinn.no) if you have any problems with roles and rights.

Appeal deadlines vary from case to case
You’ll find the appeal deadline that applies to your case in the letter you've received from us.
