Payment agreements for claims we collect on behalf of others

If you cannot pay the full amount at once, you can apply to pay in instalments or defer the claim.

We collect compensation, penalties for late filing, court fees, enforcement fines, and other types of claims on behalf of other organisations in the public sector.

Important information

This page covers claims from a number of organisations, except for Nav, the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund (Lånekassen), the Housing Bank (Husbanken), Helfo, and Garantikassen for fiskere (Guarantee Fund for Fishermen).

We recommend paying in instalments rather than deferring the payment.

It’s important that you follow the agreement so your claim does not proceed to enforcement proceedings and a deduction from your income.

You can pay over up to 24 months, or with instalments of at least NOK 500 per month.

If you have several unpaid claims or need an extended payment period

You must log in to apply for a payment plan if you:

  • have several unpaid claims
  • want a payment period longer than 24 months (6 months for compensation claims)
  • want to pay less than NOK 500 per month

If you’re unable to use online services, you can submit your application on paper. You must attach supporting documents showing your financial situation.

Send the application to:

If you need more than two months to pay, we recommend splitting the claim into instalments instead.

  • you're under 18 years of age
