A normal working week is 37.5 or 40 hours. You have stated under 25 or over 45 hours.
You might have received the error message because you have entered an incorrect number of hours.

Respite care workers
Respite care workers can have written contracts with employers to work for up to 60 hours in a 7-day period.
If you have received an error message regarding a respite care worker that has a contract for more than 45 working hours, you can ignore the error message. You do not need to correct it or resubmit the a-melding.

If it is incorrect, you must correct the error by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

How to correct
- Check if you have stated the correct number of hours per week equating to a full-time position.
- If you have made an error, you must correct it.
- After you have corrected the error, submit the a-melding. If you use a payroll system, check with your system supplier if you are not sure how to make corrections in your system.
Example
In Ellen’s employment contract, her working week is specified at 37.5 hours. Gymclub AS submits an a-melding for August and states that the number of hours per week to which a full-time position equates is 50.
Gymclub AS gets the error message MAGNET_EDAG-F506 because the number exceeds 45 hours.
How they correct the error:
Gymclub AS can see that they should have stated the number of hours specified in Ellen’s employment contract, so they correct and submit a new a-melding.
