Why am I receiving this error message
You specified an invalid degree of disability.
You may have received the error message because you have:
- entered the wrong degree of disability
Note!
The degree of disability must be between 1 and 100 percent. The degree of disability can be 0 percent if the amount is NOK 0.
Do I have to correct the error
Yes, the a-melding contains errors and/or omissions which you must correct.
You must correct the error by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

How to correct the error
- Find the benefit which has been specified incorrectly, and change the degree of disability to the correct value. It is the most recent degree of disability for the benefit which was submitted for the month that applies.
- Submit the a-melding when you have corrected the error. If you use a payroll system, check with your system supplier if you are not sure how to make corrections in your system.
Example – incorrect degree of disability
A pension company submits an a-melding with information concerning a disability pension of NOK 10,000 for Lise with a degree of disability of 0 percent. This is wrong. Lise’s degree of disability is actually 50 percent.
The company receives feedback MAGNET_EDAG-246 because the degree of disability is not between 1 and 100 percent.

It also enters other obligatory information.
It is the most recent degree of disability which is submitted for the month that applies. The pension company has submitted the amount for disability pension in a previous a-melding.
