Why this error message
You have entered a payment date that is earlier or later than the period you are reporting for.
The error message may be caused by:
- you have entered an incorrect payment date
- you have reported a payment date in advance or after the fact
- you have tried to correct previously reported withholding tax for the wrong period
Do i have to correct the error
Yes, the a-melding contains errors and/or omissions that you must correct.
You must correct the error by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

How to correct it
- Check whether you have entered the wrong payment date
- If the date is incorrect, enter the correct payment date
- Once you have corrected the error, submit the a-melding. If you use a payroll system, check with your system provider if you are unsure how to make corrections in your system.
