Employment ID is missing

    Why am I receiving this error message

    You have specified one or more employment relationships without an employment ID. When an income recipient has several employment relationships with the same sub-entity, the relationships must be distinguished from each other by giving them a unique ID.

    You may have received the error message because you have:

    • specified several employment relationships for one income recipient without an employment ID

     

    For employers who report both ordinary wages and pensions to employees

    Please note that you cannot combine the employment type “pension and other non-employment related benefits” with other types of employment. If the employee is in normal employment and is partially retired, you must only report “ordinary” or “maritime” employment.

     

    Do I have to correct the error

    Yes, the a-melding contains serious errors and/or omissions which you must correct. The a-melding has been rejected.

    You must correct the error by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

    How to correct the error

    1. Find the employment that is missing an ID, and specify a unique employment ID for each employment.

    2. Delete any employment of the type “pension and other non-employment related benefits” if you have combined this with “ordinary” or “maritime” employment.

    3. Submit the a-melding when you have corrected the error. If you use a payroll system, check with your system supplier if you are not sure how to make corrections.

     

    Example

    A school submits an a-melding for June with information concerning Per, who has two employment relationships with the school: one for administrative work and one for teaching.

    The school receives feedback MAGNET_EDAG-242 because the information concerning the employment relationships cannot be distinguished from each other.

    The school adds the following information about the employment relationship regarding administrative work for Per:  
    Employment ID 10

    It also enters other obligatory information.

    The school also adds the following information about the employment relationship regarding teaching for Per:  
    Employment ID 20

     It also enters other obligatory information.
