Why am I receiving this error message

The party you are submitting an a-melding for a main entity is registered as wound up in the Register of Legal Entities.

This may be because you have:

• entered an incorrect organisation number for the party you are submitting the a-melding for 
• specified the wrong calendar month for the a-melding

 

Do I have to correct the error?

The a-melding has been submitted with information which may be incorrect.

If there is an error, you must correct it by the deadline for submitting the a-melding for the calendar month in which you received the error message.

How to correct the error 

1. Check whether you submitted the a-melding under the correct main entity and for the correct calendar month.
   
   
2. If there are no errors, you do not have to do anything.
   
   
3. If there are errors, you must correct them.
   
   
• If you have submitted an a-melding for the wrong main entity, see changing the organisation number. 
  
  
• If the information in the Register of Legal Entities is incorrect, see www.brreg.no for how to change it.
  
  
• If you have submitted an a-melding for the wrong calendar month, change it to the correct month.
  
  
4. Submit the a-melding when you have corrected the error. If you use a payroll system, check with your system supplier if you are not sure how to make corrections in your system.
