Conduct assessment of persons and businesses applying for licenses

When you work in the municipality and require information to make a conduct assessment of an applicant for an alcohol, sales or food service licence, you must send a request to the Tax Administration.

If you write the request following the standard template, we get the information we need straight away and can reply quicker.

What information do we need?

The Tax Administration must know which persons or companies you need information about. This is the information we require:

  • Role - which role the person has in the company
  • Name of the person or company
  • Norwegian national identity number(11 digits) or organisation number (9 digits)

It's important that all fields are completed for all persons and companies. It is important that you enter the entire national identity number.

We do not need attachments concerning other circumstances or information relating to the licence application.

The template the municipality must use

The template may be available in your municipality’s case-processing solution. Therefore, check with your municipality before you download the template yourself. If you download the letter template, you must enter your municipality as the sender yourself.
